1.  If you love the Iranian regime, they have a fun surprise for you on February 11.  What will it be?  It will be either this:

In either case, tons of fun for the West.  You have to love how the Obama Administration continues to "hold out their hand" in friendship to a state that revels in slapping Americans around.  We were somehow able to blockade Cuba to prevent the Soviets from putting nuclear warheads there, but we wouldn't dream of doing the same to a second-rate power like Iran to stop them from going nuclear.

2.  John Murtha is dead.  He's one of the more mixed characters to serve in Congress over the last fifty years.  He served gallantly in the Marines, and for that he deserves credit.  But he was also a slanderer of the military, particularly the Marines of Haditha, and he was the king of pork. 

I know it has become popular for everyone to go into silent mode when someone dies out of respect for the family, but it's not a tradition I completely understand.  Evil men don't deserve deference; good men don't need it.  It's those in the middle who largely benefit.  Since Murtha was at best a middler, we'll leave it at that.

3.  The Audi green ad is picking up steam from the left.  Listen to moron David Roberts of Grist.org:

The ad only makes sense if it’s aimed at people who acknowledge the moral authority of the green police—people who may find those obligations tiresome and constraining on occasion, who only fitfully meet them, who may be annoyed by sticklers and naggers, but who recognize that living more sustainably is in fact the moral thing to do. This basically describes every guy I know.

This is exactly right.  The ad is dedicated to the proposition that people ought to be arrested for failing to compost their orange peels.  And the left takes that seriously. Are you scared yet?

4.  Obama's down to 44%.  Hotline reports:

Independent voters see Pres. Obama in a negative light by a nearly 2-1 margin, according to a new Marist College survey, while almost half of voters say he has failed to meet their expectations.

When's he going to pick up on the fact that nobody likes him?  He has already blamed us for being angry white folks.  Now all that's left is for him to go whole hog and declare us racists.
